Identified Hangs Out on Google+ Live with Virgin CEO Richard Branson

Identified Hangs Out on Google+ Live with Virgin CEO Richard Branson
Tomorrow at 9AM PST, Identified's career insider, Sherilynn "HeyCheri" Macale, will be sitting down to interview Virgin CEO Richard Branson in a live Google+ Hangout as the very first interviewer in Virgin's #askrichard series. *See Branson's blog post about the event.

Send us your questions for Richard Branson!

Branson, who started his first business venture at age 16, is a self-made billionaire who has become one of the most well-recognized CEOs in the world due in part to his larger-than-life personality, as well as his aggressive professional pursuits. He was listed as the 4th richest citizen of the United Kingdom by Forbes Magazine in 2011, and has a current net worth of 4.2 billion as of March 2012. And all this, shockingly enough, while being a highschool dropout!

To the Identified community, we'd love to hear your questions and credit the best responses in our live interview! Some example questions: How important do you feel education/school is when it comes to being successful? And what was it like to start your first company at 16 years old– did you have to face any major obstacles? Tweet us with your questions, post on our Facebook wall, and send us your suggestions — we're listening!

And be sure to tune in at 9 AM PST (5 PM GMT) tomorrow via Google+ Hangout (be sure and add Richard as well as Cheri to your Google+ Circles) to watch the interview go down live!

Er, okay.
Maybe you can't actually come bowling with us, as we sort of already went without you (oops). But we promise we thought of you guys while we were out knocking down pins and nomming on delicious food!

Bowling with Team Identified at Lucky Strike in San Francisco was a welcome change from our regularly scheduled programming. Typically, our fun-and-grub infused biweekly company meetings are held at Identified headquarters, but our butt-kicking office managers thought it might be more fun to rent out the entire upper floor of the Lucky Strike bowling alley and pile in our flock of employees for some much-needed variety.

And well.
They were right.
Fun was most definitely had.

Inspirational speeches abound!
Fantastic news was shared by our well-loved Co-CEOs and Co-Founders who were both happy to let Team Identified in on some killer announcements (coming to a press release near you — stay tuned!).

And then, of course, we all managed to just have fun.
Take a look.

 Come Bowling With Team Identified!

Okay. Maybe we were having too much fun.
… Though this should be obvious, if you can't already tell from the photo above where our Art Director, Ego Faylona, is offering up a gift of beer(?) to our Co-Founder and Co-CEO, Adeyemi Ajao, who's being lifted into the air by our curiously strong Software Engineer, Jason Feng. Oh yeah. Getting rowdy.

What do we think of this image?
… "Meh".

We're totally open to suggestions.

Happy St. Patty’s Day 2012 from Team Identified!

Happy St. Pattys Day 2012 from Team Identified!
St. Patty's Day was tons of fun with Team Identified!

Although this very-green holiday fell on a Saturday this year, we managed to pull together for some in-office fun last Friday with all of us donning our spirited best and chowing down on deliciously traditional Irish food at Lefty O'Doul's near Union Square. What's St. Patrick's Day, after all, without some corned beef and cabbage?

Om nom nom.

I'd like to honor Meri Morris with Team Identified's unofficial "Most Spirited Employee" award for this particular holiday. Meri managed to get quite a few passerby comments on her oh-so-festively-horned hat. Well done, Meri. Well done.

Oh, and don't mind the demon eyes in the above photo too much — we swear we're not crazy.

Mmm! Mini mint frosted chocolate cookies.
60 caloric units each of celebratory Irish fun. These definitely disappeared pretty fast.

Hurts so good.

And, as usual, our Co-CEO, Adeyemi Ajao (typically known for his hilarious office antics around Identified headquarters), leapt on the opportunity to don Meri's holiday hat, happily modeling for the camera.

Rawr, baby. So fierce!

Here's to hoping everyone had as much fun as we did for St. Patty's Day 2012!

EDIT: Just a quick edit — our buddy Kevin Moran at Google would like to respectfully point out that the true way to spell St. Patty's Day (as we have apparently misspelled it) is with two D's! That is, "St. Paddy's Day" — much thanks, Kevin!
